If I was staging MLML as a play I would give desera an aqua blue sundress. I would have her face, hands, and feet look like they have dirt on them. she wouldn't have shoes at most for some parts I would maybe have her wear sandals, but they would be dirty, old and just beat up. I would have her have straight silk-like hair that is tied back.
I would give her the aqua blue sundress to show that she has a sort of special connection with the god of water agwe which plays an important part in her character. Then the dress is also a nice dress to show that she is sorta like the rich people and that she really wants to be one. Then the dirty hands, face, and feet show she is still a peasant. Same for the no shoes and when she has shoes their dirty sandals just to show that she is still working on farms and is a peasant.
