discuss activity yesterday   what I did   what other groups did The activity yesterday was each group had a certain amount of time to reenact the play Romeo and Juliet.  The three times for each group was 1 min for group one, 2 min for group two, and 30 sec for group three.  I was part of group two so we had 2 min for ours.  We did what we felt were major and most important scenes from the play.  We covered about 5 scenes.  The first was the party were Romeo and Juliet first met.  Then we did When they got secretly married.  After we did the fight where Romeo is banished from Verona.  Then we did when Juliet buys the sleeping potion and Romeo buys the poison because he thought she was dead.  The last scene was when Romeo goes to Juliet tomb and finds her dead so he drinks the poison, and then when Juliet wakes up and finds Romeo dead next to her which made her kill herself. Discuss your experience this week working on your 2 monologues. How did you create character and how did you show emotion? What did you do well or improve upon? What did you learn? The name of the play was Romeo and Juliet.   It was written by Shakespeare, but directed by Raphael Massie .   I went to see the play September first at Edgerton park in New Haven.   The play was about the love story of Romeo and Juliet.   The two main Characters Romeo and Juliet were played by Steven Johnson(Romeo) and Courtney Jamison(Juliet). The story is about Romeo and Juliet falling in love but it would never work out.  This is due to the feud between the two families.  Their forbidden love leads multiple fights and multiple people dying including themselves.  One of the fights leads to Romeo being banished.  That leads to Juliet almost killing herself, but instead she goes to the fryer who gives her a sleeping potion.  When Romeo finds her he thinks she is dead so he drinks poison and dies next to her.  Then she wakes up to see him dead which makes her kill herself.  When they are found together the truth comes out that the...

One day I was surfing at my beach.  It was about 6:30 am the water was really clear that day and the sun was still coming up but it was bright enough to see everything.  I was out with a couple of my friends.  When I saw something dark under the water near me and we were out pretty far.  I looked around for my friends but they had just caught a wave and were in close to shore.  So I started paddling to shore but it is getting closer.  I told my friends that there was something in the water and they didn't believe me until they saw it so we all started to paddle in.  As we were paddling it got really close to us so we paddled faster.  Then it got almost next to us and it popped up out of the water.  It turned out only to be a seal so we went back out and continued to surf.
