• The passage is from when Daniel crashed into the tree and Desiree finds him.  the design of this scene would be that Daniel crashes in the down center stage.  Then I'm going to have a light a main bright light that focuses on Daniel Desiree and the car.  then have a more dim light on everyone around him.

• desiree comes from the woods that are on both the left and right sides of the stages
• a picture or projector screen with mountain with a road and woods on it.  
• all the peasants stand up stage behind the car 
• desiree is down center stage next to the car

• the scene when Desiree goes to see the gods.  the design for this is that desiree gets to where the gods are and then she starts praying on her knees.  when the gods come erzulie moves to center stage and starts talking to desiree.  then agwe and erzulie start fighting in center stage with desiree watching.

• papa ge moves to down stage at the end to talk to desiree which is when she runs away

• The scene when the maid finds desiree in bed with daniel.  desiree and daniel are in bed in up when madame mathilde comes in from the door on center stage left.   She tells desiree that she should leave and is not needed.  desiree answers with that she wont leave till daniel is better
