this is just to say

Reflect on your experience last week exploring Verbatim Theater. Why do you think people do it? What does it accomplish? What was your experience like (and your group's experience)? Was the process difficult? And if so, how so? Were any aspects easier than others? Did you enjoy it? Why or why not? What did you learn?


people perform verbatim theater because they are trying to describe an actual story that was told by someone or describing a character.  I feel like with mine we accomplished showing how Ivan felt about moving from vdp to markin and which he liked more very well.  So I feel like it is good at telling stories.  My group has had no experience with this type of theater that I know of no one said anything about having ever done this before.  I found the prosses of figuring out ivans character somewhat difficult to write but It personally for me was very easy for me to portray Ivan because I am very good friends with him and know him very well.  This was by far the easiest aspect of this in my opinion.  I had a lot of fun with this mostly because I enjoyed playing Ivan.  I feel like I learned to try to have more fun when acting and that it will one help me to portray a character and two makes me more comfortable with speaking in front of an audience.
