  1. how can we create the feeling that Laura is separated from the world?

  2. How would laura's personality change if she didn't have a crippled leg?
    1. Laura’s personality would change greatly if her leg wasn't crippled. She would become happier with her life. Laura’s main character flaw is that she is too shy. This stemmed off of her limp. She recalled going up the stair to the music room as if sounding like thunder. This enabled her to have a normal high school experience. She never had the courage to approach Jim and tell him how she felt. She is extremely insecure solely about her leg. If her leg was never crippled there is no evidence to think that Laura would still be an introvert.
