      • lies to her mom and instead of going to school she walks around the park

      • doesn't really have friends
      • she tells mom about Jim to change the topic away from school
      • gets very nervous about Jim coming over
      • she gets hope because Jim and  are talking a lot
      • she dances with him 
      • he breaks he favorite glass animal the unicorn
      • he tells her that he is engaged
      • she feels embarrassed 
      • Jim tells Laura to be more confident and Jim kisses her
      • she does nothing during the big fight
      • we dont know what happens to her

      • fights with amanda about everything
      • he goes back in the past a lot 
      • hates working at the warehouse
      • breaks the glass menagerie
      • he loves laura
      • talks about magic
      • plans to leave
      • he gets into a huge fight with amanda

this is just to say

when I read this I get an image of someone eating a plum and also them taking it from the icebox and the color purple comes to mind because plums are purple.  also an image of someone angry that someone ate their plums and at the same time someone apologizing for taking them.  the story behind it is that they are apologizing for eating someone's plums.  some of the sounds are S which is repeated in the poem
